BEACHES
Agios Ioannis Beach
One of the most suitable beaches for fans of windsurfing and kitesurfing due to the strong winds that blow here. Both are very close to the town of Lefkada, have clear turquoise waters.
Egremni Beach
A famous beach 2 km long surrounded by impressive cliffs, considered one of the best of the Mediterranean.
Pefkoulia Beach
Large sandy beach with very clean waters and pine trees that reach the sand. Its amazing turquoise waters and its iidyllic environment make it perfect for endless hours of sunbathing.
Kathisma Beach
Once the favourite of campers and nudists, it is today Lefkada’s most cosmopolitan seashore, organized with umbrellas, loungers, beach bar and restaurants.
Pefkoulia Beach
This small beach with clear blue waters is preferred mainly by families. It is located in the traditional resort of Agios Nikitas, its is organized and offers many choices for coffee or food.
Porto Katsiki Beach
The most impressive of all the beaches in Lefkada, with an extraordinary natural landscape.
SIGHTS
Archaeological Museum
The Archaeological Museum of Lefkada is housed in the newly-constructed building of the Cultural Centre in Lefkada Town. Its four rooms cover a large chronological period, from the Paleolithic times till the late Roman years.
Nydri Waterfalls
Visit the gorgeous cascading waterfall is the Dimossari waterfall that can be found on the outskirts of Nydri. It ends up into a gorge which is replete with white rocks.
Monastery of Faneromeni
The Monastery of Panagia Faneromeni is the most important religious center on the island of Lefkada. Located on a hill above the Town, this monastery gives gorgeous view to the capital village, the northern side of the island.
